Ron Hodge is CEO and Managing Director of InvestSMART Group and founder of InvestSMART, which he established in 1999. He has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, including roles with UBS in Singapore and Bell Commodities in Sydney.
Ron is passionate about helping Australians invest with greater confidence through simple, low-cost and diversified investment strategies. He is a strong advocate for long-term investing, financial literacy and making professional investment solutions more accessible to everyday Australians.
As a regular commentator on investing, ETFs and wealth creation, Ron brings a practical, plain-English perspective to topics ranging from building a diversified portfolio and managing investment risk to avoiding common behavioural mistakes.
Ron holds degrees in Commerce and Economics, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
