Alex Vynokur is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Betashares – a leading Australian ETF manager and financial services business with over $90 billion in assets under management.
Alex also serves on a number of company and not-for-profit boards. He is currently a director and principal of Apex Capital Partners, a financial services focused investment firm. Other directorships include Toranotec Ltd, a Japanese asset management firm offering digital savings and investment services. He also serves on the Board of the Royal Hospital For Women Foundation.
Prior to founding Betashares, Alex was closely involved in the establishment and development of several leading Australian financial services businesses. He previously worked at Turnbull Pillemer Capital, where he focused on identifying and managing investments across the financial services industry.
Prior to commencing his career in financial services, Alex was a lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, specialising in financial services, mergers and acquisitions.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
