Dr Bianca Ogden I the founder of Seceda Capital, a global biotech and bipharma investment firm that will invest in private and public companies. The focus is on companies that are at a later stage of VC funding, who have some clinical data and are gearing up for larger clinical trials, or getting closer to listing or commercializing products. Geographically it will still include the US but will focus strongly on APAC, including Australia and Europe. It is a unique focus for Australian investors as it is not seed or early VC investing, it is about the gap of funding that exists outside of the US. It really is about building a deeper ecosystem.
