Adam Judd is Chief Operating Officer of Coinbase Australia. He runs local operations and adapts Coinbase's global products for the Australian market. He oversees the company's Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and leads its local derivatives strategy, including the rollout of perpetual futures.
Adam has more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across financial markets and regulation. Before Coinbase, he was Executive Manager, Product at CommSec, where he led strategy, product development, performance and risk governance for the derivatives and margin lending business. Before that, he spent more than a decade at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) as Senior Manager for Securities and for Strategy. He supervised financial markets and participants, covering conduct through to Australian Market Licences applications.
That mix of regulator and operator experience helps Coinbase build a crypto business in Australia that is compliant and ready to grow as the local regulatory framework matures.
