How much are tickets?

Early Bird tickets are $40, available for a limited time. Once they sell out, General Admission is $55. Both prices include access to all five stages, all 50+ sessions, and the festival floor.

What does my ticket include?

Full access to the festival from 9:30am to 5pm - five stages of programming, food trucks, bars (food and drinks at your own cost), the Bucking Bull, and everything in between. The full program drops soon.

Where is FinFest?

Carriageworks, 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh. Sydney's iconic contemporary arts space, ten minutes from the CBD.

How do I get there?

Easiest option is the train - Redfern Station is a 7-minute walk, Macdonaldtown is closer if you're coming from the west. Limited parking on site, so we'd recommend public transport. Rideshare drop-off is on Wilson Street.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 9:30am, first sessions kick off at 10:30am. Come early, grab a coffee, settle in.

Is FinFest for beginners or experienced investors?

Both. The whole point of FinFest is that finance shouldn't be gatekept. We've designed the program across five stages so there's content for whatever stage you're at - whether you haven't bought your first ETF or you've been managing your own portfolio for a decade.

Will sessions be recorded?

Yes. All stage sessions are filmed and a select number will be published to the Equity Mates YouTube channel and podcast after the event, so you can catch some (but not all) if you missed.

Can I get a refund? 

Tickets are non-refundable, but they're transferable. If you can't make it, you can pass your ticket on to someone else - just email finfest@equitymates.com with the new attendee's details. 

Can I bring kids? 

This is an over 18's event only. ID will be required to purchase alcohol. 

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. Carriageworks is fully wheelchair accessible, with accessible bathrooms and step-free access throughout. If you have specific access requirements, email us at finfest@equitymates.com and we'll make sure you're sorted on the day.

What about food and drinks?

Food trucks and bars will be running throughout the day. There's also a coffee cart for the morning fix. All food and drinks are at your own cost - bring a card, the venue is cashless.

What should I bring?

Photo ID if you plan on visiting the bar. Your phone for QR codes and session info. That's about it. Bag check is available at the entrance.

Is there a dress code?

Come as you are. It's a festival, not a conference - no suits required!

When will the program be announced?

Speakers and sessions will be announced progressively, with the full program live in September. Sign up to our mailing list to get it first.
